BATTLE OF THE BLUSHES - Wibo vs. NYX

Hey everyone,
it's not a secret that we are addicted to blushes. Like seriously, our collection is waaaay to big :P But hey, there is no such thing as too many makeup products, right?
So today we want to share with you 2 great products. We've bought them totally separately and it came out that they are great dupes. Ladies and gentlemen, let us introduce to you:

       - Wibo Blush with silk and vit. E (in nr 1)
       - NYX in Pinched

From the left: Wibo, NYX

As you can probably tell the packaging is quite similar- plastic on both blushes, which make them handy and travel-friendly. But let's have a closer look, because we all know, looks aren't everything ;)

Again from the left: Wibo, NYX

Wibo starts out relatively sheer and natural, but you can easily built it up to the intensity you see in the photo (it took us about 4 swipes), so it's perfect for those who don't feel like experts yet. This vibrant pink color looks really natural on your cheeks, even though it might seem scary on the very beginning. What's more it does have peachy undertone - they match almost every skin tone.
NYX - we don't have to recommend this one. Like all NYX blushes, the quality is really great as well as the pigmentation, so guys, be careful. Tiny bit is enough ;) The color of Pinched is fabulous, intense pink with cooler undertones. In the pan, there are few random shimmer particles, but in our opinion they don't translate onto the skin.

Wibo and NYX blend easily. Both powders are really smooth and finely-milled (love it!) and they don't "dries out" during the day.Wibo stays on your skin for 5-8h, while NYX all day long. And what is more important, they DON'T BREAK US OUT.

That's all for today. We hope you did enjoy our little battle of the blushes:)

| Skincare routine | by P

Hey everyone,

When it comes to skincare I have one rule - 'keep it simple'. When I was 16 years old I started struggling with acne. It covered all of my cheeks and forehead, pretty much all the places where you normally put on bronzer. I wanted to get rid of it by trying out every single anti-acne product that exists, so for at least 3 years my skincare was in constant change. I was hoping to find some miraculous product that would cure it in one night, but as we all know there is no such thing. I went to dermatologists who gave me medicines, I had treatments and it all helped... for a moment. Then I went abroad for 3 months and it got me really lazy with skincare, meaning I stopped using so many products. When I came back to Poland I noticed a difference in the state of my skin, most of the acne was gone, although I still got some blemishes. I also kept using "minimum" in terms of products. It worked (and still works ) perfectly for my skin. It may not work for everyone as we all have different skint types and needs, so here is what I do every single day (PS. my skincare didn't change for more than a year).
STEP 1: Cleansing. This is an olive cleanser from a polish brand called Ziaja for dry to normal skin. I use it every night not only to clean my face but also to remove my makeup. It is extremely gentle (which is very important when you have acne, what I learned through my experience is not to use anything with alcohol because it dries out your skin and doesn't solve the problem). I know those of you who live in the US don't have access to this brand, but I can also recommend Cetaphil cleansers. I also used them for quite some time, but this one works better for me and is much cheaper (Ziaja products are around 3-5 $).
STEP 2: Toner. This one you all probably heard about. It is the Bioderma micelle solution for combination/oily skin. There is also another version for sensitive skin, but as I have oily skin this one is much better for me. The single bad thing about this product is the price, but fortunately there is often a discount 2 for 1 or you can alway find it cheaper online. It is a perfect toner that cleans your skin and you really feel that. You can also use it as a makeup remover (though I prefer the gel from Ziaja) and one bottle lasts in my case for about a year. I use it every single day in the morning, as well as in the evening because it really gives that feeling of clean skin.
STEP 3: Moisturizer. This is a very important step in my skincare routine. I used to think that since I have oily skin I don't have to moisturize, oh my, how I was wrong. Everyone should remember to use a moisturizer, twice a day and drink a lot of water. It helps to stabilize your pH and minimize the production of oil. The one that I use is again from Ziaja and it is meant to also matify your skin (which it does really well). It doesn't break me out, nor cause any more acne and is my favourite face cream that I have used so far.
STEP 4: Eye cream. Unfortunately this one is a must for me. If I don't use eye cream the skin on my eyelids starts to dry out and looks very ugly and I can't use any eyeshadow because it would only highlight it. Doesn't matter which one you use, currently I have this Ziaja one, only because it's the cheapest.
STEP 5: Night cream. I use two different products in the morning and in the evening, because since the one in step 3 is a mattifying product I don't need that during the night. So I use something more thick to make sure my skin is well moisturized. This is a product from Ziaja again (I'm sorry there is so much of it, but I really do love those products) and it is meant for oily to combination skin and it is with white tea, which is supposed to prevent acne. I don't know if it actually does, but it doesn't break me out and I like it.
STEP 6: Products I use once in a while. The one on the left is simply a face cream with SPF factor for oily skin and it is from Bioderma. You can use whatever you like as long as you remember to protect your skin from the sun. I use it mostly during the summer, because from fall to spring there is not so much sun and I spent time indoors. The product on the right is also from Bioderma and it is something that I use only if I remember to do so and on my chin and my nose. It is called pore refiner and is supposed to make your  pores look smaller (something similar to Porefessional from Benefit) but is a skincare, not a makeup product. The last thing that I use and it is usually 1-2 times a week is an exfoliating scrub. I change it all the time as I haven't found the product that would be perfect.

This is it for my skincare, I'm sorry this post was a bit long, but I wanted to explain why and for what are all the products. Hope you've enjoyed :)

PS. Apparently there is an online store that sells Ziaja products in the US if you are interested in trying them out, I strongly reccomend :)

SATURDAY TIP # 2

Hey everyone,

A week has passed and we have another Saturday, which means another tip for you guys! We all love to paint nails right? But sometimes our favourite polish gets all gummy and unusable even though we just got it. We get frustrated because we spent money and the product doesn't work as it should. No need to worry, we have some tricks how you can save your nail polish.

The first thing you can do is… simply put the polish into hot water. Sounds unbelievable? Trust us, it works. The effect may not be long lasting but you can still paint your nails for the night out.
The second tip we have for you is as simple as the first one. All you need for this is only nail polish remover. What you need to do is pour a little bit into your "gummy" polish, shake it up for a second and voila your polish is as good as new!
We hope you liked our small tricks and tell us if you tried it yourselves!

Lipsticks for Fall

Hey everyone,

Are we the only ones obssesed with a dark lip for the fall? Probably not. So today we want to share with you some of our absolute faves in the lipstick department.

Number one on our list is a Maybelline Mystic Mauve (250) Color Sensational. It's a nice moisturizer and it stays on your lips all day long. What's more it's in a nice, cold-pink tone.
Hint: It's a perfect product to use when you try to achive one of the hottest makeup - Kylie Jenner inspired look.
Maybelline Mystic Mauve (250) Color Sensational

Ok, now let's take a look at some red lipsticks. Number 19 from Kate Moss's collection for Rimmel is a really pretty redish brown color which is perfect for everyday wear (especially if you don't feel comfortable wearing dark lips on a everyday basis). We love Kate Moss collection, her lipsticks are creamy, they last a decent amount of hours and most importantly they don't dry out your lips.
Number 19 Rimmel

Next is a Red Velvet from Oriflame. This really deep, half matte color will be perfect not only on everyday use but also when you plan a night out. But you need to be careful, especially wearing white clothes, because it has a tendency to smudge. However the color is georgeous, so we believe it's still worth trying.

Red Velvet Oriflame

There is no way we would not include any of the MAC lipsticks on our list. So there actually will be two. The first one is the famous REBEL, a gorgeous purple-ish shade that you can build up however you want.
Rebel MAC

TIP: If you are on a budget we recommend checking out Inglot lipticks, number 293 is a fantastic dupe for Rebel.

If you are more brave in your makeup and like to wear something much darker, then there is one word we have for you - DIVA. This MAC's lipstick is incredible. It's a beautiful dark, wine red shade and it's a matte, but it really doesn't dry your lips. We don't know how is it possible, but we love it. So definitely go check it out in the stores.
Diva MAC

That was our last proposition, we hope you liked our faves. Maybe you have your own favourites?

Top 5 September

Hey everyone,

September is almost gone, as well as the last days of our summertime (sun, how we miss you already). So there is nothing else to say: hello October and let's begin with our last month faves :)
First product we've been using almost every single day this month is Diva by Mac*.
This lipstic not only suits practically everyone (said by blonde and brunette with totally different skin tone and guess what... it looks great on both of us) but it also "spices up" even the most delicate makeup. What's more, Diva is a pure definiton of  dark-lips fall trend. How can we not love it?
*We've mentioned MAC lipstics few times before, because the quality and colors are stunning. However if you don't want to spend 16$ for a lip product, there are great dupes like Maybelline in Berry Brilliant or Inglot 293
Our next fave, also from lips department is a lip butter by Korres. It's a nice moisturizer and it's in a gorgeous dark pinkish color. We fell for this one from the very beginning.
Ok, we have to admit, we are obsessed with blushes, so our next product shouldn't be a surprise for you. It's a cream blush by Topshop in Afternoon Tea. This product is in a lovely, soft pink shade and works perfectly for different skin tones. What's more, the aplicaton is a real pleasure and we don't have to worry about "clown cheeks" effect.
Hint: you can apply it also with your fingers- there is no need of buying new brushes.
In October we've also discovered a Lirene Young 20+ face cream. It's too bad this product is going to be discontinued. Lirene not only smells fruity-amazing and has these little bubbly things inside, but also (what's the most important thing for us) does not break you out.
Hint: We are not using it for the night as the packaging suggests but it works just perfectly fine as a morning base.
Firsts cooler days are typical for September, so we have been prepared with our termic mugs with a hot, tasty tea inside. Our favourite flavor for now is Teekanne Sweetpear. Guys, you seriously need to taste this one, it's so yummy, we can't even describe it.

Last but not least, we can't forget about the one and only "Doctor Who" and the new season starring Peter Capaldi. For all the whovians out there you know why it's the best show ever and for those who never got a chance to watch it - just do, you won't regret it (well maybe sometimes when you are shedding a tear or two, or a million).

That would be all for our faves. We also want to hear what did you like this month? Let us know :)

SATURDAY TIP # 1

Hey everyone,
Don't throw away your old mascara brush, just use it! And we are going to show you how.
First of all, clean your old mascara brush so there is no product left. When you have this clean brush you can use it to separate your clumpy lashes. There is no need to buy professional brushes, cause you can achieve the same effect with clean mascara brush.
Another way to use an old brush is to use it together with hairspray as a "brow gel". How? Just spray a little bit of hairspray on your brush and go through your brows and voila!
